What were you doing 10 years ago?
Let's see...I was a senior in high school so I would have been busy with my final year at good old South Summit. At this point, I'm sure swim team was over for the season, so I wouldn't be needing to get up early for that. However, I did do ednet classes in the morning with Tiffany Snelgrove and we would either eat a bagel or yogurt every morning. (I still have a hard time eating yogurt to this day!) After school I would head to work at Summit Inn.
5 things on my to do list today:
1.Since it is about 6:30 am on a Sunday (I'm having a hard time sleeping right now), I'll be going back to bed for about an hour.
2. Church
3. Have an early dinner with my family
4. Write in my journal
5. That's pretty much it...had I done this yesterday, there would have been lots to choose from!
Things I would do if I suddenly became a billionaire:
I would first build a house in both Utah and Prince Edward Island, Canada (be by both families). I would pay off Dan's school loans. I would trade in both of our cars for new ones. I would pay off any of my families debts and build my dad his dream cabin. I would travel all over the world. I would let my husband finely have free range with all of the business ideas that he has. I would donate money to the church and start various different savings accounts for everyone in the family...missions, college, weddings, retirement, etc.
2 of my bad habits:
1. Making multiple To Do lists (love it) and then only accomplishing a few things here or there before I make a new To Do list!
2. I'm a perfectionist...enough said!
5 places I have lived:
1. Salt Lake City (for a few months of my beginning years...I don't remember it)
2. Woodland
3. Orem
4. Eagle Mountain
5. Pleasant Grove
Jobs I have had:
Food Town Bakery (for 3 days)
Hoyts Hardware
Summit Inn
Heber Forest Service
Hansen All-Seasons Insulation
Flipdog
IdeaSphere
...soon to be a mom!
5 things people don't know about me:
1. I have accomplished all of my goals from when I was a little girl except for one. They were to be in Tapestry, a life guard (only for 2 weeks, but it counts), marry a return missionary and become a mom (almost there!!!). The one I didn't do? Becoming a rodeo queen.
2. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people talk to each other in the restroom.
3. I made my parents buy me reading glasses when I was in middle school because I thought they would make me look smart! They just looked really dumb! Now I have to wear glasses when I drive.
4. I hate to clean!!! (But I LOVE to organize-everyone knows that one)
5. I don't like talking on the phone. I prefer email.
