Anne's First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Anne's first day of Kindergarten and she was so excited!

A picture of Anne "with" Mr. Dalton.  His name tag on his door that is.  She is still a little aprehensive about having a male teacher but I just know by the end of the week, she will be sold.  Mr Dalton is a great man and awesome teacher so I know she will learn to love him.  We'll try for a photo with the actual Mr. Dalton in a few days.

And this is what Sophie did while big sister was gone to school.  She played dress up, with baby dolls, and then ended up watching a show on mom's iPad.  She was so excited when it was time to go pick up Anne.  Only a few more weeks of that and then she'll have a little sister around.

Preschool Graduation

Our little Anne graduated from preschool and it was bitter sweet.  She has had so much fun with Miss Hollie for the past 2 years.
Anne and Ian.
We're so proud of our little graduate and are looking forward to a great year next year in kindergarten!

Happy Birthday, Princess Antonia!

Our little Anne turned 5 years old today!  Where has the time gone?  This year's party theme speaks for itself...princess!  These 6 little princesses sure were giggly today!  This is one of many, many photos and this one had the most girls actually looking at the camera!
Anne with her friend, Hannah, before the other princesses arrived.
Each of the girls made their own princess crowns.  (With a little help from Queen mom)
I loved how all of the girls plopped down on the floor in their pretty princess dresses during the opening of presents.
This is how most of the pictures turned out...girls looking at each other.  Anne loved all of her presents.
Singing to the birthday girl!  I was so happy to find bright pink frosting! (And that none of the girls got it on their princess dresses)
Getting ready to blow out the candle
After cupcakes, the girls sat down to watch Disney's Sofia the First.  I was surprised that they all sat quietly during most of the show.  Dancing was a must, of course.
Getting ready to go home...all the girls with their princess rings on.  Anne had so much fun with all of her little princess friends.  She was a little bummed that some of her other friends couldn't be there since we had the party during school time...and we left out the boys...oh well!  She has already informed me that she wants a Jake and the Neverland Pirates party for next year...totally boy friendly!
