Halloween

Sophie's first Halloween! She was glued to this candy bowl. She loved the noise the candy wrappers made when she would move her hands around inside the bowl!
Is this not the cutest cheerleader ever? Love this kid!
Along with Sophie being a BYU cheerleader, Anne dressed up as Cosmo the Cougar! She loved it!
Anne thinking she is tough stuff!
Sophie ready to go!
This is the 3rd year of trick or treating with Anne's buddy Ian. Ian didn't want his picture taken!
Anne and Ian holding hands!
One of the houses in our neighborhood had this fun decoration out on their lawn. On the right is cute little Rebecca who is also in my primary class!
Once we were done making the rounds, it was time to look over the treats!
Sophie didn't get as much as Anne but she still had fun! And we pool our candy and share with the whole family...mommy and daddy's rule! =)

Party!

Our neighbors had a Halloween party and we got dressed up all festive for the occassion! This is me and the girls with our fun Halloween socks!
The girls in their fun shirts and cute headbands!
I just love those cheeks!
A few of the party-goers! They played a bean bag toss game, bowling, colored and did an obsticle course outside. So much fun!
After games, it was lunch time! Cute little Sophie with her bottle of milk. Michelle made some mummie hotdogs for the kids and yummy soup for the rest of us! She also had a brain (made of jello) that was tasty! So much fun!!!

General Conference Fun

This year for General Conference, I made up these fun activity bags with a picture of each apostle and member of the first presidency. As each spoke, Anne would find their picture and then open the bag to see what was inside. I got the idea from Pinterest...of course!

Some of her bags had an activity and some had treats to share. This was a cute Dora bracelet kit I found at the dollar store.

Anne coloring her picture of President Monson. I did coloring pages for him since he speaks multiple times.
We also built a fort to watch conference from.
While they were speaking, I would have Anne listen for the words Jesus, Joseph Smith, temple and family. Then she would clip the speakers picture to the picture on the wall for that subject. It was another fun way to get her to pay attention. She actually looked forward to each session and on Monday, woke up asking if we could watch church on TV again! I'm glad I found a way to help Anne get excited about conference! Sophie napped through most of conference...also nice!
