Happy 8 months Antonia!

Today is little miss Antonia's 8 month birthday! It is so amazing how quickly the days go by and just how much fun we are having with this sweet little girl in our home. She is such a joy and blessing...I can't say it enough! We are so happy that our Heavenly Father sent her to our home.

Anne is still just rolling around everyone to get to where she wants to go. She is starting to figure out scooting herself backwards...now if she could just figure out how to move herself forward. She also has discovered opening the drawers in her bedroom (the bottom ones are the only ones she can reach) and she sure does know how to get everyone's attention where ever she goes. She will wave and say "hi" in her only little way to all that she sees when we go out. She even does it in the morning to everything she sees as we walk around the house. It is so cute. She also loves to talk on the phone and look at pictures of herself in the digital camera after we have taken a picture. She is just too smart sometimes for her own good!
Yesterday, we took Anne to Temple Square for the first time. It was pretty cold due to all the snow but it was a beautiful day. Her favorite was looking up at the Christus. She just couldn't get enough of it and didn't want to leave that room. The little spirits do know.
We were visiting Temple Square because we were taking Cory to the MTC. He is from PEI and it was so much fun spending a little bit of time with him. It was my first time to the MTC and it was such an amazing experience. The spirit was just so strong. We are really excited for him.
Last night, Dan and I were playing Worms on the Playstation and Anne wanted to join in so we let her have control of the paddle that wasn't in use at the time. She was having some fun with it...and helped mommy out a few times with the one that was in use.
We are just so happy that we have this little girl and that she is our's forever. We are looking forward to this new month with her and of course the fun that will be had this holiday season!

What a fun weekend!

What a fun weekend we had! It was Anne's first Halloween so we bundled her up in her bunny costume and headed to a place called Homeshow Daily where they have a bunch of booths set up year round to get ideas for your home. They also had candy at each of the booths and so "Anne" made it away with a lot of loot! That is the fun part about her being this little...she won't mind mommy and daddy "testing" all of the candy for her.

We got some video of Anne before we left. We know how much Jamie and Madeline like to see and hear her. She is such a cutie and we don't mind taking lots of photos and videos of her!

After getting all of "Anne's" candy, we picked up Travis at our house and then did some shopping at Walmart. I don't think Travis will ever want to go shopping with me again. We then came home for dinner and watched a movie after putting Anne to bed.

Then on Saturday, Mom and Dad, Vinnie, Taylor and Heather along with Bracken and Bryce came for dinner to celebrate mom and dad's 30th wedding anniversary. Their anniversary is today but we decided to all get together a few days before. I made a roast (my first time...what was I so afraid of?) and it was all just really yummy! Thanks everyone for such a fun night!

We took some pictures of the kids after dinner...these are my favorites. I posted a bunch of other photos on photobucket (photo show below).

To finish off our fun weekend, we decided to take a family drive on Legacy Highway in the rain after Anne's afternoon nap. It took us a little bit to find where to get on at. Then we came home and had a yummy lasagna dinner followed by watching our DVD of The Testaments that Chris and Jess bought us for FHE. It was a great ending to a great weekend!
