Anne loves to play!!!

I love watching Anne play in her exersaucer! Each time she seems to discover something new. This day, she discovered her cute little self looking back at her. So much fun! She loves to jump around in it as well. She can really get going!

Anne also loves playing and cuddling with her Miss Kitty! This was a present from our doctor and his nurses after Anne was born.

One morning as I was getting Anne ready for the day, she was playing with Miss Kitty as usual and then this is where she ended up. I think Anne maybe wanted a few more Zzz's and wanted to block out the morning sun! So cute!!!

I just had to throw this cute picture of Bracken in! He is getting so big! This was taken of him at the Tapp reunion and I failed to include it in my last post! What a handsome little man he is!

Tapp Family Reunion

Every year...the 3rd Saturday in August...we all go to Bywater Park for the Tapp Family Reunion. It was really nice this year because it wasn't too hot and so everyone seemed to stick around a little longer than usual.

The most fun part is bingo (but I didn't participate this year). Aunt Erma has the real size candy bars and such for prizes. Little Anne was "loved" a ton by all of the aunts and extended cousins this year. It was fun to see!

After the reunion, we went on a quick walk-through of mom's house growing up. It is being remodeled. It was strange to see that it is still the same house but with so many changes. Then we went to Great Aunt Margy's for a quick visit.

We went out back to see the ducks, quail and some of the other fun stuff she has. Bracken especially loved the tractor!

Afterwards, we went to a reception for a cousin on the Dewey side of the family. (Unfortunately, my batteries died after I took this picture so I don't have photos from that). It was just a really fun filled day and Anne was so tuckered out that she went right to sleep in the car and slept until morning!

8 years!

Wow...8 years with my best friend! Has it really been that long? We have been through so much together and so sometimes it also seems like forever! Which is exactly how long I plan on spending with this handsome guy!

My wedding day is so special to me! When we arrived at the temple, Dan was right in front of us but he was so nervous that he didn't even notice me! After we got ready, they let us sit together in the celesital room while our guests for the sealing arrived. We were both just in awe at how beautiful the temple was that we didn't even speak. Then, after the sealing, seeing Dan with a tear or two in his eyes was so sweet.

And now we have been blessed with the greatest gift of all...a beautiful baby girl! Now we really feel like a family! (Unfortunately, all of the photos of us when we were first married are boxed up right now)

I can't wait to start another new year with this man to see what is in store for us next! I love you sweetie!!!

Where to begin?

This summer is just flying by and we have been having lots of fun! We had a fun friends BBQ at Sam and Alayna's house. Anne loved hanging out with Beau. We got together a few days before to do the prep work (we go all out for parties of any sort!) and then the big day! (Hey Wacey...you didn't break our camera!) =)

We took a trip to Dan's work to see the new visitor's center and to see where he works! I had been once as a little girl and just remembered that it was big...it still is!!! The trucks that Dan drive are so huge...as you can tell by the tire we are standing next to!

This same day, we also went to see the hole for our house (that will be a post for another day) and we also took Anne in for her 4 month check up! Our "little" baby girl is 16 pounds, 11 ounces and 26.2 inches long! Yeah...she totally takes after her daddy! All that matters is that she is healthy and happy!

This is Anne doing Classical Stretch with her Nana! What a cutie! We spent last weekend at Nana's because it was my 10 year high school reunion! It was fun to see those that came and to see how people have changed. It was at the Homestead in Midway.

Anne had fun just hanging out with Nana. She also got to stay up late!

Anne is growing way too fast! She has cut her two bottom teeth, she is starting to sit up and she is doing really well with putting herself to sleep. I figured out that I was putting her down too early at night so once I adjusted that, she was good to go! I just want to hold her all day long! She is just so cute! Why can't babies stay little forever?

Anne is now 5 months old! One of her most favorite people in the world (only a little behind me...ha, ha!) is her daddy! She loves it when he comes home from work and when he is off. I can't wait until she can start talking because I can just imagine her saying "DADDY!" when he walks through the door. But I still want her to stay little!!!

We got a booklet of coupons to go visit various places in Utah from Dan's work so we decided to take a trip to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. It was really neat to see all of the exhibits there. We did have Anne's stroller but she wanted to be out so she could get a better view! She had fun...for a 5 month old! I could tell she was really curious why all of the kids were playing in the water and sand...she probably thought it was a giant bath tub. She loves the water!

Well, that is the last couple of weeks in a nut shell!

Memories

I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions: 1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you have of Dan or I. It doesn't matter if you know us a little or a lot, anything you remember! 2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about us, We'll assume you're playing the game and we'll come to your blog and do the same thing. Thanks for playing!
