We did pretty good with tomatoes this year. This is from just one week! This was also the last of the crop since it was going to freeze.
Then add in some tomatoes from my neighbor and you have a whole lot of tomatoes! I used the green ones to make a freezer strawberry jam using jello to add the flavor.
Gaby felt a little neglected through the whole process. She wasn't very happy with me taking her picture either!
I used the red tomatoes to make spaghetti sauce. It didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped so I guess I need to find a new recipe. But, it was still great to be able to make something to enjoy later!
