Swimming with Nana

One of Anne's rewards for potty training was that if she could get 14 stickers (14 days without an accident), she could go swimming with Nana! Well, her goal was reached clear back in February but we weren't able to actually follow through on the reward until April! Poor girl would ask almost every day when could she go swimming with Nana!?!

I took more video than photos so this is pretty much the only picture I have of Anne at the pool. She is getting ready to go swimming and Nana just put some goggles on her! I don't think they stayed on her very long. Anne had so much fun swimming and splashing! Swimming is one of her many favorite fun things to do!

We spent two nights with Nana and Papa. One night, Papa played his harmonica for us and even let Anne take a turn. My favorite part of the trip was my mom taking Sophie for me so I could get some much needed sleep. Too bad my back had other ideas...and a 3 year old in bed with me!
Anne had fun swinging on the swings, looking at the birds, watching Tangled and just spending special time with Nana and Papa! Sophie had so much fun too! It was her first time out to Nana and Papa's.
Just as we were getting ready to go, Anne decided she needed to go for a ride. She said "Hop a ride Nana!" and so Nana took her for a little drive. Both girls slept almost all the way home!
The next day, Anne said "now we can't go swimming anymore!" Poor girl thought that was that. Well, as soon as I can find a new suit, she and I will be spending lots of quality time at our pool!
