Easter

The Easter bunny came to our house Saturday! Anne was so excited and tried to be such a good little girl all day Friday (with Mommy constantly reminding her to do just that!) Saturday morning, she wanted to run downstairs and hug the Easter bunny but was very disappointed to find out he was so tired and had gone back home to take a nap! No one in the house likes hard boiled eggs except me so for the time being, we've skipped the whole coloring the eggs part. However, new tradition is a Dove chocolate bunny for each of us...I like that one! Next year, however, the Easter bunny will bring all of us milk chocolate! I'm not a dark chocolate fan! (Dan thought they just had fun colors...oh well)

Both girls got a fun flower headband and everything else ended up in Anne's basket. A coloring book, some Match and Go Fish cards, egg shaped sidewalk chalk, Easter socks, Tangled...so much fun! Next year Sophie will get a fun basket too!

It was hard for me to pose the girls and take the photos. (Dan wasn't quite awake just yet) but the girls are still super cute so it doesn't matter that it isn't picture perfect!

The grand prize of the day was this gigantic egg full of jelly beans! (What was the Easter Bunny thinking???) Anne, however, thought it was the best thing ever!
