We decided to be induced since we live an hour away from the hospital we were going to be delivering at and didn't want to chance Dan being at work, in the bottom of the mine and me going into labor! So, this is me right before changing into the hospital gown. We had to be there at 6:00 am...way too early! But, I hadn't been sleeping well anyway.
After a quick delivery, this is the beautiful bundle of joy that we were blessed with! Sophia Grace was born at 11:16 am weighing 8 pounds 1 ounce and 21" long. She had a little bit of fluid in her lungs but she was able to work it out of her system on her own quickly so she is good and healthy.
Sophia is such a good little sleeper!
Sisters meeting for the first time. Anne just loves Sophie! She just can't get enough of her little sister. It is going to be a bit of adjustment for Anne but she'll be OK. She is already a big helper and wants to hold and kiss Sophie all of the time!
The girls!
Daddy just loves his little girl too!
Sophie's visitors in the hospital. Nana is staying with us for the week and brought Anne to see us and also Uncle Travis came for a quick visit as well.
Now we are home and Anne right off wanted to hold her sister. I love this photo of Sophie sticking out her tongue!
These two girls are going to be good friends! We just love them both so much!!!
And just like I did with Anne, here is a photo of Sophia asleep for the first time at home! It is so great that we finally have Sophie here with us!
The hospital also had someone come in and take photos and it is just too cute to not share! Click here to see the hospital photo of Sophia. However, they have the time as pm instead of am but that is OK...she is still absolutely adorable!
