Sophie's first (real) haircut!

Sophie has looked like this for a while now.  I wasn't quite ready to let go of her baby curls...and worried how she would do with scissors coming at her.  It is hard enough just getting her to sit still while I brush her hair!
Well, the day finally came for her to get her first (real) haircut.  The girls were dancing out front.  I think Anne was more excited!
Here she is getting settled in her chair and having her hair combed out.
The stylist ended up getting her a sucker to get her to hold still.  She's ready to have her bangs cut!
She also was able to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...I love coming here for kid cuts!  So much fun!
Now she's getting her hair styled!  They spray your kids hair with a hair spray that smells like cookies...yummy!
Sophie's final product!  She looks so much more grown up here...but some of her curl stuck around so I'm happy with that.  She's playing on the slide while we waited for her certificate to be made!
You can pay a little extra on their first haircut to get this fancy certificate!  It includes a little pocket with some of their cut hair!  Such a fun little tradition we have going on with our kids! Sophie did pretty well...once she got that sucker!  And she wouldn't put it down for anything as you can tell from all of the pictures that it is in!
