Anne has been potty training now for about a month and is doing quite well with it! (Knock on wood!!!) She has met her 7 sticker requirement to go ice skating with Daddy (to be redeemed in Canada) and is only a few away from her 14 to go swimming with Nana! However, we still have days that drive me crazy and make me wonder why I don't just keep her in diapers! For example...
This is what happens when you try to flush an entire roll of toilet paper!!! Luckily I have half a mind to first turn off the water (since it was just flowing and flowing) and then I grabbed all of the towels I could find to soak it all up. Luckily it wasn't hard to fix the problem but now Anne is slightly afraid of toilet paper...which isn't the best solution either! All in all though she is doing well and we are so proud of her! Next test...road trip! Yikes!
Little Sophia turned 4 months old Saturday, the 12th, and I just can't believe how fast she is growing! It seems her milestones are coming quicker. Perhaps because I'm not as worried this go around? She is trying so hard to sit up on her own now and still has an endless supply of smiles! We took her in for her 4 month check up and she is 13 lb 8 oz and 25" long!
It is hard to get two girls to smile at the same time! But, I had to include them since both girls looked cute!
But, in time it did happen! I got the girls matching Valentine's Day shirts from Old Navy...couldn't resist! (Dan got a gun...and I don't think he'd go anywhere near red unless it has something Canadian on it anyway!)
And a quick update on Dan and I. Things are moving slowly for us with our chiropractor visits but at least they are moving. It is so frustrating for me to look around at everything I want to get done to only have to sit down after 5 minutes of trying because it just hurts too much. So, if you come to my house, please over look the fact I haven't been able to vacuum in over a month and other such things! We're doing the best we can! =)

Sorry your back is hurting you so bad. Not fun. Hope it gets better soon.
Your girls look so cute in their valentine shirts. Love them!
Oh Alisha I am so sorry about your back. We need to get our babes together!! Your girls are beautiful!! THanks for the update and I hope you start feeling better soon.
Hopefully we can move to Utah so I can come and help you! I wish things were moving more quickly. Little Sophie looks so much like you! She's so cute! She is going to be as big as David soon. His 9 month he was only 16 lbs and 25 inches. He's in the 4% for both.
As for Anne, it's happened to all of us. We had toys flushed down also. One time a golf ball. She will be all potty trained before you know it! Love you!
Yes, we still have some fun toilet days, and more to come later in the year! But I'm glad she's ok. I would practice noisy, big public toilets with the split in the seat before trying it on a road trip, my kids would get terrified and not want to go. And yes, the second child when you also have a toddler is going to grow really quickly! And you find yourself not wanting them to do things (like getting mobile) when you could not wait with the first! But how fun and what beautiful little valentines you have! We are just so happy for you, they were totally worth the wait
