Halloween Fun!

Anne had so much fun with Halloween this year...however, Mommy didn't really get into it so Anne had a makeshift costume and Sophie wore one borrowed from a friend in the ward. However, I think they still looked cute...don't you? We went to the ward Trunk or Treat on Friday. So much fun! Daddy took Anne around to the cars for candy while Sophie "helped" mommy pass out treats at our car.

Saturday we took the girls around our neighborhood for Trick or Treating...in the rain! Anne was wet after because she wouldn't stay under the umbrella with me (Sophie stayed nice and dry) but still had fun! I didn't get any photos of the during part but here is Anne after in all of her soaking wet glory! We went around with Ian, Anne's next door neighbor friend, and his parents. It was fun! While Ian would say "Trick or Treat" at the door, Anne would say "Merry Christmas!!!" Kid after my own heart!

Here is all of Anne's "loot"! She got way more than I had anticipated between the two days!

We all drank some hot chocolate to get us warm again.

And then Anne passed out the candy to the kids that came to our house. She would put the candy in each of their bags/buckets and say "One for you, one for you..." Daddy had to convince her it was OK to give each kid a couple.
Next year hopefully I'll be more in the Halloween spirit (decorate the house, get real costumes for the kids, etc) but all in all, I think Anne had fun and that is all that matters!

Ha Ha I love that she went around saying Merry Christmas! Too cute. And it's ok to have a make shift Halloween right after you have a baby! In fact it's expected! =)
