What we've been up to...

We've been so busy having fun that I haven't had a whole lot of time to blog about it! I've decided that I'll post all of the pictures of these events on FB, so you can see all of the fun we had there! So here is just a little sneek peek as to what we've been doing!
September = State Fair and we had so much fun this year! It was nice that Anne was able to walk around and enjoy it on her own! She loves the little Helping Hands on the Farm (or whatever it is called)!

Here is a comparison between this year and last year...I can't believe just how much she really has grown over this past year!

Next on our list of fun things to do was going to the International Peace Garden. I've never been there before so I wasn't really sure what to expect! It is beautiful and a great place to take pictures. I had a hard time selecting only a few from all of the wonderful photos Dan (and I) took!

Each country has their own little section to take care of. This was Canada's. We were trying to get a photo of Anne with the flag blowing in the background but of course the wind decided to stop as we had this great idea!
A week later, we decided to go to Young Living Farms in Mona! Dan had been there as a missionary and again, a place I've never been before. It was really interesting and fun. Anne's favorite part of the day was the slide...she loves slides!

We are definitely planning on going to Lavendar Days so we can be a part of the other fun festivities!

Now, on to October. Each year for the past 8 years, we've been getting together with our good friends the Browns and Snows for a pumpkin carving party! A great tradition!!! This year we decided to have a little extra fun with it and threw in a pumpkin pinata! Anne was the only kid that really got into it though.

After Dan (Snow) destroyed the pumpkin, it was time for carving! Some day the kids will be old enough and they will be the ones carving...but for the time being, it is still Dan (Snow) doing his quick and easy pumpkin, Mike doing his very detailed pumpkin (although this year it didn't seem to take him too long) and me!

And here are all of our kids with the pumpkins! Too much fun!

And, the final event to blog about today is the trip to celebrate Dad's birthday! We had so much fun hanging out at the hatchery with my Dad! Anne just loved the "FISH!" and was squeeling with excitement as they would jump and splash her. She couldn't get enough of it and was sad when it was time to go in.

Her next favorite part of the trip was the swings by Papa's house. If she wasn't asking for the fish, she was asking for these. She also wanted everyone to swing with her so she would tell us to sit. Too cute!

Hopefully I won't get this far behind again but I make no promises! =)

You've been very busy! My kids loved the State Fair also. Lavendar Days is sooo much fun! It's worth it to pay a little extra for the Fairy Tea Party. I was so sad that they didn't have Lavendar Days this year. I hope they bring it back next year.
