Our first wall mural!

I decided to play dress up with Anne a few days ago. I have some of my old dresses in a tote for her to play with and she pulled it out. We also decided to use the crown and she is holding a little princess doll.

This morning, as I was doing a little family history work on the computer, she said "Mommy, honey" (she says honey when she wants something) and when I turned around, she was holding this dress up for me. So, we put it on and she was ready to pose! Notice how she is starting to use the Bracken head tilt. She's learns a lot from her cousin!

So, after this cute moment with Anne and some other fun things today, I'm thinking I've got the sweetest angel of a daughter...and then this afternoon hits! She ripped a page from Dan's scriptures so she had to call and leave a message for Daddy on his phone saying she was sorry. She really did look sorry but didn't say anything on the message.

Then, she does this...

You'll most likely have to click on it to see it better. I was going through visiting teaching stuff on my bed when she grabbed one of her purple crayons and wrote this on the back of the door of my bedroom! (It looks like the word "why" to me. Hmm...) When I realized what she was doing, I said "Anne!" somewhat forcefully and it scared her. She dropped the crayon and came running to me. She had big tears before she even got to me. She cried and cried while giving me a big hug. How can you be mad at that? Well, she had to help me pick up all of the crayons and say "good-bye" to them for the rest of the day. Then, about 20 minutes later...she had found a stray crayon and did the little pink part to the right of the purple. Again, I said Anne and she came running with tears!
I still think I have a sweet little angel...just one that doesn't want to keep her creativity to the paper...meaning she is a normal kid that will do naughty things from time to time when mommy doesn't pay close attention. So, I decided to put away what I was doing and we played "Ring around the rosies" over and over again while watching Dora. She thought that was pretty fun!

uh oh - lock up all the writing utensils! I almost always have a little suprise whenever we leave a pen or something within Ty's reach. But on the up side, she does seem to know how to write in cursive already :)

We've got some nice wall art at our home as well! You should just leave it there so you can compare it to her future work! What a cute little princess!
