How lucky am I? I get to have my sister and her kids stay a few days with me and my family while they are in town. We decided to spend one of our days together up in Ogden. I've never really done much in Ogden other than visit friends or drive through so I wasn't aware of all of the fun things to do! Our first stop...Union Station!
We walked around all of the trains they have outside and then into the station for the kids to see everything up close! It was all so big to them!
Then it was time for our sack lunches...Anne loved it! And of course, running around on the playground.
Our final stop...Treehouse Museum. This was a blast...or would have been more so for me if I had more energy! The kids, however, loved it! Around every corner is something fun with books nearby that go along with it. This was Grandma's Kitchen where you sit on this giant Grandma chair and she reads you a story.
The kids wandered around little houses from different countries. They got dressed up in Mexico. Anne then took a break on California.
The kids had lots of fun playing in the music room. Everything is down low so even little Anne got in on the action!
Then the kids all took a turn sitting in the president's chair in the Oval Office. Anne looks like she could take charge, don't you think?
Then, Mason and Michael tried their hands with the giant chess board. They were having so much fun that they wanted to keep going even after one of the kings had been taken out of play!
Who knew that books could be so tiring? There, of course, was so much more to this fun place but I had to limit it somewhere!
After this fun day, we all went down to the theater to hear a book read to us and then we were on our way home...Anne napping all the way!
